Congratulations to Spencer McDaniel for being my student of the 6 weeks for the 1st 6 weeks of school!  I look for students who have a great work ethic, are kind and courteous to their peers and myself, and participate during class.  Maybe YOU can be next!

Caring Kids receive Cowboy Cash:  This is an incentive to reward students with $5 Cowboy Cash for caring about themselves and others.  Students who care about themselves care about turning in homework, keeping an organized binder, studying for tests/quizzes, helping their peers, being kind to their peers, being respectful to teachers and their peers, etc.

My Caring Kid this past week was Ashley Cheatham!  Way to go Ashley!

Ways to Help Your Grade

Practice, Practice, Practice!!!
*Know your multiplication facts.  Go to "Aplusmath" and print flashcards or practice on-line.
*Go to the "Great Math Links" and print practice worksheets along with the answers.  Work a few a night until you have mastered that concept.
*Come see me in the morning for tutoring at 8:15.  Tell me the concept you are having problems with and I can make up some problems for you.
*Ask mom/dad/brother/sister to make up practice problems for you.
*Don't forget the retest policy.  If you make below a 70 on a major test (not the computation tests), you have the opportunity to bring your grade up to a 70.   Come in before school at 8:15 to do corrections with me by the correction deadline.  The deadline is given when your test is first returned to you and we go over it in class.
