In this section you will find copies of all the beginning of the year handouts I give out and explain in class. 1st Six Weeks
Theme: Finding Our Stories
Narrative Writing
When someone narrates, that person is telling a story or recounting a series of events. A narrative paper describes an incident to make a point. A good narrative paper has five essential parts: a specific event, well chosen and emphasized details, a chronological organization, a consistent point of view, and a meaningful purpose. This six weeks we will focus on perfecting a narrative paper.
